NoodleNotes app for iPhone and iPad

NoodleNotes helps you in various ways and can therefore support you in many situations. You can use NoodleNotes to collect things that interest you, record to-dos, save memories and much more.

NoodleNotes helps you to capture notes and manage them in a structured way. Different types of notes can be used. Notes can be grouped into categories, which can be further subdivided by subcategories. Notes can be created both in the app but also from other apps via app share. Notes can be searched for in the app.

Contrary to the usual trend of storing all information on the Internet, it was important to me that all notes are stored completely locally, i.e. all data remains on your device. This does limit the feature set somewhat (e.g. sharing notes with friends). However, notes are something personal in the sense of this app and so this data should also stay on your device.

At first glance, NoodleNotes only knows a few note types: Texts, photos, audio recordings and web pages. For audio recording, Noodle Notes needs access to the microphone. Along with each note, the location where you created the note is saved. This is needed for future features, but currently not used any further.

I created the app for my wife and found it so useful that I hope others will enjoy it as well. I created the app as a private person and it is supported by open source frameworks and creative commons graphics. Still, I invested more than a year before I was satisfied. I hope the app is now useful for you as well. I would be happy about feedback, improvement requests are welcome. Feel free to use the rating function. At this point, many hearts to my family for testing, reviews and patience until the app was finally ready.

Also, contrary to the general trend of relying on subscriptions and in-app purchases or showing ads, this app is completely free of them.
